The SAM-2 Heavy is specifically designed for ARRI Trinity systems. It weighs 300 g more than the standard ARRI SAM-2, making balancing with most Alexa setups easier. Additional weights on the bottom of the camera are no longer needed.
At 250 mm, the plate is also longer than the original ARRI SAM-2, providing improved versatility and balance adjustment options. It is made from durable 7075 aluminum and anodized for excellent stability and long-lasting performance.
